Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (200g) SunRice long grain white rice, rinsed
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 500g Coles Australian beef rump steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 medium brown onion, thinly sliced
  • 200g button mushrooms, sliced
  • 175g pkt MasterFoods beef stroganoff recipe base
  • 2 tablespoons Coles Brand sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon MasterFoods parsley flakes
  • MasterFoods black peppercorns, freshly ground, to serve
  • Steamed baby broccoli, to serve

Method

  • Step 1
    Cook SunRice Long Grain White Rice following packet directions.

    Meanwhile, heat half the oil in a large non-stick frying pan over high heat. Add half the beef. Cook, stirring, for 1-2 mins or until browned. Transfer to a plate. Repeat with remaining beef.

    Heat remaining oil in the pan over medium heat. Add the onion and mushroom. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 5 mins or until onion softens. Return beef and any juices from the plate to the pan. Stir in MasterFoods Beef Stroganoff Recipe Base. Reduce heat to low. Cook for 10 mins.
